I have been seething since yesterday, and have been trying to wrap my head around the single-worst piece of ‘journalism’ I have seen in The New York Times.
That’s a very high bar. This is the newspaper that has two Pulitzer Prizes hanging on its walls for publishing pure, unadulterated propaganda. One for denying the Holodomor in Ukraine, covering up the mass murder of millions by Stalin, and the other for pushing the Russia collusion hoax.
This is the paper that is proud of the Pulitzer it just received for publishing hoax photos purporting to show mass starvation of children in Gaza. It publishes stories from Gaza written by a man who posts about his admiration for Hitler.

NEW: The New York Times has rehired a reporter who has a history of publicly praising Adolf Hitler.
Soliman Hijjy, a Palestinian reporter, has contributed 9 articles for the New York Times since the Israel-Hamas war began.
Back in 2018, Hijjy took to Facebook to voice his support for Hitler: The photo was of himself and had the caption, “in a state of harmony as Hitler was during the Holocaust.”
In 2012, Hijjy posted an image of Hitler with the caption: “How great you are, Hitler.”
How much lower can it go, right?

This is a hard article to read, but I hope you’ll do so. I’ve spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured — they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews — but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they’re equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. We should be able to find common ground in opposing rape.
Nicholas Kristof has published an Opinion piece so absurd that it devolves into accusations of Israeli rape dogs.
Kristof’s ‘report’ is based on the anonymous testimony of terrorists who have been released by Israel in swaps of prisoners for hostages. These prisoners were all terrorists, most of whom were failed suicide bombers. He adds in accusations from Hamas-linked organizations of such low credibility that they had accused Israel of “evaporating” Gazans with secret weapons similar to phasers in Star Trek.
Nick Kristoff’s sources include:
-The blatantly anti-Israel UN Commission of Inquiry into Israel (feat. antisemites Navi Pillay, Miloon Kothari, and Chris Sidoti)
-The Hamas-linked Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor

-The blatantly anti-Israel UN Commission of Inquiry into Israel (feat. antisemites Navi Pillay, Miloon Kothari, and Chris Sidoti)
-The Hamas-linked Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor
-Sami al-Sai, a freelancer for Hamas-linked Al Jazeera who has glorified terrorists on social media
-Anti-Israel activist Issa Amro
-Anonymous sources cited by the Hamas-linked Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor
-The Hamas-propaganda-promoting organization Save the Children
-Anti-Israel activist Sari Bashi, co-founder of an organization whose sole purpose is to slander Israel with apartheid accusations
-Ben Marmarelli, self-proclaimed “anti-Zionist” and lawyer for archterrorist Marwan Barghouti
-The anti-Israel organization B’Tselem, which exists to demonize, slander, and harm Israel
-The foreign-funded anti-Israel organization Breaking the Silence, which exists to slander and harm the IDF and Israel
-Shaiel Ben-Ephraim, who left UCLA after multiple sexual harassment allegations and underwent a personal rebrand to become a radical anti-Zionist after the October 7 massacre
The anti-Israel, terror-supporting Norwegian Refugee Council
-Lots of anonymous, unverifiable sources
No doubt there are abuses against terrorists in Israeli prisons, because there are abuses of prisoners in every prison system, including in the United States. But once you hit the level of “rape dogs” and are taking the word of 14 released Hamas terrorists, you have crossed the line into dark fantasy land.
I just watched the Kristof video, it’s worse than the article.
Watch how this creep ends it—claiming the Israelis are now doing the same thing Hamas did on October 7 EVERY SINGLE DAY.
No real evidence. Still stated as a fact. I love when the @nytimes reminds us how bad it is. pic.twitter.com/CSvdyzyql0

Kristof’s slander was timed to hit one day before the release of a final report on Hamas atrocities in the October 7th massacres, which is so horrifying that I won’t repeat the VERIFIED stories of horror, including the rape, mutilation, and beheading of women on a mass scale. There are videos and confessions by Hamas terrorists who were proud to commit these atrocities, and even the very antisemitic United Nations approved the report.
I received a copy of this report back in Sept of ‘25.
This report has been certified by the UN, overwhelming evidence was presented before they officially recognize it.

Months ago, the Civil Commission approached the New York Times with a report on Hamas’ systematic sexual violence on Oct. 7 and after. The @nytimes said it was not interested.
This comprehensive and well-documented report was published this morning by CNN and other international outlets.
Aware of the report and its release date, the night before its release the NYT ran a shameful attack on Israel, belittling Hamas’ sexual crimes.
That tells you everything about the NYT’s agenda.
The New York Times had the report that documented the Hamas crimes, but was uninterested in reporting it. There are videos, testimony, and autopsies, all documenting in gruesome detail what was done. We have all seen hostages paraded through Gaza with Gazans celebrating the atrocities. We have videos of Imams explaining in loving detail how the rape of non-Muslim women is not only allowed, but in many cases necessary.
Kristof goes with the anonymous testimony of TERRORISTS, and when challenged, claims they had no incentive to lie.
Kristof says “it seems far fetched to suggest Palestinians fabricate claims to smear Israel”
How stupid can one person be?
The Palestinian leadership REWARDS Palestinians who murder Jews. Does he really think lying is some type of red line for them?https://t.co/YJu5GfXo8t

As I have written before, the Times has employed actual Nazis to report from Gaza, and when caught, told their Nazi reporter not to post on social media. They didn’t fire him.
And now they are doing the rape dog thing. And millions of people will believe them, because it is The New York Times.
The claim that Israeli guards used trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners is being amplified everywhere.

The claim that Israeli guards used trained dogs to rape Palestinian prisoners is being amplified everywhere.
The evidence? Two anonymous guards. No names. No dates. No video. No forensic evidence. No documentation.
Meanwhile, documented allegations of Hamas sexual violence, including on-camera confessions, UN findings, and testimonies from Gazan women, have received far less attention from the same outlets.
Anonymous hearsay gets amplified, and documented Hamas abuse gets ignored.
That choice tells you everything.
The Times knows that reporting the truth would offend its readership, and its newsroom is vilely antisemitic. Its reporters are literally defending themselves against Hamasniks’ criticisms by pointing to Nick Kristof’s opinion piece as proof they hate Jews as much as they do.
A reporter from The New York Times was surrounded and harassed by pro-Hamas rioters.
His response was to write “Did you read Kristof” on a notepad as a peace offering.
Incredible. pic.twitter.com/1UMJbga7DC
— Bonchie (@bonchieredstate) May 12, 2026
Of course, Hamasniks didn’t read Nick Kristof, but the narcissists at the Times are too self-absorbed to imagine that people don’t read their paper.
Oh, and the timing for Kristof’s propaganda piece was to get ahead of this.
He wasn’t tasked with revealing sexual crimes, but with covering for them. And it worked.https://t.co/w5ymheQQ84

Even critics of Israeli policy are taken aback by the brazen lies that Kristof and his paper are now peddling. I can’t post the entirety of Gur’s tweet, but it is worth clicking through and reading it. This man hates Netanyahu, but cannot stomach the fact that the paper printed obvious lies.
I cannot believe we have to do this.

I cannot believe we have to do this.
The New York Times, the paper of record, just published an op-ed accusing the State of Israel of systematic sexual violence against Palestinian detainees, including the claim that Israel is training dogs to rape prisoners.
One of their sources is a man who left his job after multiple people, including minors, accused him of sending them threatening and sexual messages.
The other is Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, a group whose chairman was sanctioned by Israel as a Hamas operative and who publicly called the testimonies of Israeli women raped on October 7th “fabricated lies.”
The Times is using the words of a man credibly accused of sexually harassing children, and an organization led by a man who denies the rape of Jewish women, to build a case that Israelis are sexual predators.
This is the most serious accusation you can level at a country. It demands the most serious sourcing. The Times decided the opinion section was good enough.
It is not good enough.
And spare me the crocodile tears. The same people who spent two years calling the rape victims of October 7th liars, who told us “believe women” had an asterisk when the women were Jewish, are about to share this op-ed with tears in their eyes. They never cared about sexual violence. They cared about who they could pin it on.
I do not want to spend my day writing about this. But when the largest newspaper in the world launders this against my people, silence is complicity.
@nytimes owes our community, and its readers, an apology.
The Times doesn’t just owe everybody an apology. It doesn’t just need to fire Kristof. It needs a housecleaning. They all know the incendiary environment into which they threw this match.
That whole “elect an Islamist communist” thing is going just great for New York.
That government-run grocery store that opens in three years must really be worth it. pic.twitter.com/fd2nk3FRpb

New York City has the largest Jewish population of any city in the world. There is anti-Jewish violence in the streets. And the Times just lit a fire that will likely result in deaths.
Congrats to The New York Times and Nicolas Kristof. https://t.co/sG1w2uopck

Kristof has done this sort of thing before. Latch onto some emotionally manipulative story and wring it out as much as he can for clicks. It is his shtick, and the publishers at the Times knows that it is.
In 2014, Nicholas Kristof had to write a humiliating blog post titled “When Sources May Have Lied.”

In 2014, Nicholas Kristof had to write a humiliating blog post titled “When Sources May Have Lied.”
He admitted he’d spent years promoting Somaly Mam’s graphic “trafficked-as-a-child” horror story, only to discover she had apparently fabricated much of it.
Kristof conceded he got played, added editor’s notes to his old columns, and said he wished he’d never written about her.
Fast-forward to today, and he’s publishing an article based on interviews with 14 Palestinians claiming Israeli guards raped them with batons, carrots, and even dogs. They offer no corroborating evidence.
Any chance they’re lying or exaggerating? Kristof responds that “To me that seems far-fetched.”
But back in 2014, he wrote “We journalists often rely to a considerable extent on people to tell the truth…. We’re less suspicious if someone claims something stigmatizing, like being trafficked into a brothel.”
Except this time, the alleged victims are claiming sexual abuse in Israeli prisons — the furthest thing from stigmatizing in elite media circles.
In fact, it’s a golden ticket to instant sympathetic coverage in the New York Times, global headlines, and virtually no risk of being called a liar.
The man got burned by unverified trauma porn once, and now he seems eager to do it again to satisfy his insatiable lust for fictitious Israeli atrocities.
If the Times had any evidence that what Kristof wrote was true, they would have printed it on the front page of the Times and run stories on it for weeks.
We are aware of this situation last night and are working with our colleagues in NYC to collect evidence and analyze potential charges. https://t.co/xexzNXJ7FC

Instead, they hand it off to a fabulist with a record of publishing incendiary fiction.
The commission on Hamas sexual violence against Israelis “has examined over 10,000 photographs and videos of the attack totalling more than 1,800 hours of visual analysis.”
Conversely, someone told Nick Kristof that Zionist dogs are trained to rape Arabs, so he wrote that. https://t.co/d2sVSwz7cZ
