Diddy tossed in solitary after prison fight at Fort Dix

Sean “Diddy” Combs got into a physical altercation with a fellow inmate at his federal facility in New Jersey and was subsequently placed in solitary confinement, TMZ reported Thursday.

Multiple sources told the outlet that Mr. Combs clashed with another inmate this week at FCI Fort Dix after the inmate made a disparaging remark toward him. The confrontation escalated into a physical scuffle before prison staff intervened and separated the two men. Sources said Mr. Combs held his own during the brief brawl.

Following the incident, Mr. Combs was immediately moved into isolated confinement, commonly known among inmates as “the hole.” It remains unclear whether he was still being held in solitary as of Thursday morning, and he could face additional consequences depending on how prison officials assess his role in the altercation.

Mr. Combs is currently scheduled for release in February 2028, though that timeline depends on him earning good-behavior credits. A disciplinary finding against him over the fight could push that date back.

A Federal Bureau of Prisons representative told TMZ, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information” regarding inmates in its custody. The bureau said it does not comment publicly on disciplinary matters or other details involving individual inmates, citing privacy and security concerns.
