The Democratic Invasion of El Salvador Continues Unabated – HotAir

We have some pretty darn good relations with El Salvador’s charismatic and effective president, Nayib Bukele.

Leave it to Democrats to possibly threaten a good thing, and why?

Where they didn’t give two figs about the tiny country a month ago, all of a sudden you can’t keep the whiny camera Hoggs…oh. Sorry.

Can’t keep the camera hogs out of an airport with their bags packed for Spring in San Salvador.

It’s bad enough when one grandstanding progressive shows up out of nowhere to demand facetime with one of your newly repatriated, incarcerated citizens of questionable worth as if he was ‘somebody.’

To Bukele’s credit, he handsomely accommodated drippy Senator Chris Van Hollen’s ridiculous posturing, striking comedy gold when photographs of the meeting surfaced between the United States senator and his ‘constituent.’

I mean, really.

FIND SOMEONE WHO LOOKS AT YOU THE WAY VAN HOLLEN LOOKS AT A WIFE-BEATING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT RUMORED HUMAN TRAFFICKING GANGBANGER HE FLEW 3220 MI ON THE TAXPAYERS’ DIME TO VISIT

Well, when you put it that way, it touches your heart, no?

Maybe your intestinal tract adversely.

What was the moo-ron thinking?

I hope it plays well with his six voters back home. This ready-made oppo campaign might well raise havoc with his rumored presidential aspirations.

In any event, President Bukele was all that was gracious, which, in hindsight, might have been a mistake because it appears the rush is on.

And small wonder – it’s the least appealing and worst-behaved of the bratty pack who are piling onto flights southbound to go harass the CECOT gate guards, hoping to catch some of those schweet, schweet Abrego Garcia publicity rays.

The worst is Maxwell Frost, the unruly infant from South Florida.

All four of whom, by-the-by, voted against the Laken Riley act and can’t begin to claim any reason to be there for Abrego Garcia other than shameless pandering.

We demand Donald Trump release this union member and Maryland man!

LET HIM GO! LET HIM GO!

There’s a winning message, and I’m sure whatever union this POS belongs to is 100% behind the effort. How delightful to realize you’re being painted with the same brush.

RELEASE THE ABREGO!

Or we sic the AWFLs and the Frost on you.

This is sure to sour international relations.

Even the even-tempered Bukele can only take so much – he is human after all.

Other Dems are desperate to take the focus off the jet-setting saviors of illegal gangbangers in the party.

As the boss pointed out this morning, they’re manufacturing their own version of crazy about the situation – that this is all a nefarious Trump plot.

Klobuchar: Trump Keeps Abrego Garcia In Headlines For PR!

I believe the boss said, ‘WHUT?

Even the normally sober-sides Professor Turley had to take a shot at Klobuchar.

Reality has no friend in the Democratic party.

Van Hollen’s initial jaunt came in for another jibe from a fellow FL congressman over his concern for the ‘union member gangbanging rumored human trafficker’ that also would have required a ticket to ride he didn’t avail himself of.

Probably because American citizens were involved, I guess. Americans in peril simply don’t have the caché for Democrats that foreigners do.

…That trip drew ire from Republicans, including Florida Rep. Cory Mills.

Where were you when Americans were left behind in Afghanistan? I was helping to get them out,” Mills said. “Where were you when Americans were trapped in Israel? I was there.”

“I help and rescue Americans, not defend terrorist[s],” the congressman said.

The upside is Chairman Comer told the sympathy tourists taxpayers weren’t paying for any of it, unlike the Van Hollen escapade. They’d have to foot the bill themselves.

Frost was all ‘He’s not the boss of me‘ bravado.

…“Chair [James] Comer denied our request for an official trip to El Salvador to advocate for due process and the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Pretty shameful,” Frost said over the weekend in response.

“Good thing I don’t need Comer’s permission to get on a plane,” he said.

The four of them are going to be scrambling for their own margaritas if Bukele is already tired of nervy, uninvited guests dropping in and demanding things.

We can only hope he his.
