Rubio Expelling Children of Iran’s Leadership Who Have Been Living Here While Supporting Iran – HotAir

For all the “Death of America” and Great Satan crap the Iranian leadership shout, it turns out that a large number of their children and relatives have been living the high life in Western countries.

In fact, the current Supreme Leader of Iran is a big real estate magnate in London

On a tree-lined street in north London, known as “Billionaire’s Row,” a clutch of mostly empty mansions sit behind tall hedges and blacked-out gates. As school children wander by, private guards in dark SUVs patrol outside.

Behind the facades of these luxury homes on The Bishops Avenue lies a network stretching from Tehran to Dubai and Frankfurt. The ultimate ownership traces back, through layers of shell companies, to one of the most powerful men in the Middle East: Mojtaba Khamenei, the second-eldest son of Iran’s Supreme Leader. The 56-year-old cleric, touted as a potential successor to his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, oversees a sprawling investment empire, according to people familiar with the matter and the assessment of a leading Western intelligence agency. The people said that while the younger Khamenei refrains from putting assets in his own name, he has been directly involved in the deals, some of which stretch back at least as far as 2011.

These aren’t children and relatives living in exile. Instead, they are the privileged children of Iranian regime leaders who are living comfortable or even lavish lifestyles while maintaining their loyalty to Iran and proudly anti-American.

Well, finally, Marco Rubio is having none of it.  Believe it or not, these men and women have been welcomed with open arms by American elites and deeply integrated into our educational system.

It’s as if our leadership is suicidal. It’s one thing to give sanctuary to dissidents from an evil regime, no matter who their parents are. It’s quite another to welcome enemies into our midst, give them a path to citizenship, as they continue to work against us and line up with the “Death to America” ideology.

No doubt many liberals will jump up and scream in horror that we are deporting innocents, but be real. Iranian enemies of the United States are sending their children to the United States, the Great Satan, because they know they can get away with it. If they retain allegiance to Iran, they have already violated American law, as they are required to reject terrorism and opposition to the United States.

Instead, we have them teaching at American universities

Iranian leaders call the US the “Great Satan” and burn effigies of President Trump in the streets, but that doesn’t stop them from sending their kids here to learn — and to teach.

Children of regime leaders and bigwigs are at prestigious universities across the US, including the University of Massachusetts, New York’s Union College and George Washington University, The Post can reveal.

Sources said allowing people linked to the regime to assume such influential positions could present a threat to US values.

Soleimani’s niece is a model, and apparently also a big fan of Iran’s murderous policies. I don’t care about the hypocrisy, however obvious it is. I care about the suicidal nature of the policies that have allowed avowed enemies of the West to benefit from oppressing Iranians, pillaging their countries, building up nice lives and property empires in the West, all while working to undermine us.

Of course, we should expel them. And if they are naturalized, we should denaturalize any who have ever expressed their support in any way for the policies of Iran, a terrorist regime that has been at war with us for 47 years.

What insanity led to these people ever living here?

The Oath of Allegiance is very clear:

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.”

It is also impermissible for people entering the United States as foreign citizens to support terrorism, clearly barring the still-loyal children of Iranian leadership.

Expel them all. If they are refugees, fine. If they remain loyal to the Iranian regime in any way, goodbye.

UPDATE:

BREAKING: DHS confirms to

@FoxNews

that deceased Iranian general Soleimani’s niece first entered the U.S. in 2015 on a tourist visa, was granted asylum in 2019, then got her green card in 2021. She applied for U.S. citizenship last July, but disclosed she had traveled to Iran at least four times since getting her green card, which DHS says proves her asylum claim was fraudulent. She was arrested by ICE Los Angeles yesterday.

DHS statement to FOX:

“On April 3, 2026, ICE officers in Los Angeles arrested Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and Sarinasadat Hosseiny, the niece and grandniece of Qasem Soleimani, the late head of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was killed by a drone strike ordered by President Trump in 2020.

“Soleimani Afshar entered the United States in June 2015 on a tourist visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2021, she became a green card holder under the Biden Administration. In July 2025, she filed a naturalization application where she disclosed, she traveled to Iran at least four times since being issued a green card. Her trips to Iran illustrate her asylum claims were fraudulent.

“Her daughter, Sarinasadat Hosseiny, entered the United States in July 2015 on a student visa. In 2019, a judge granted her asylum. In 2023, she became a green card holder under the Biden administration.

“It is a privilege to be granted green card to live in the United States of America. If we have reason to believe a green card holder poses a threat to the U.S., the green card will be revoked.”
