Well, this is interesting…
Ben Rhodes, whom you undoubtedly know as Barack Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor, once bragged that he persuaded the media by gaslighting them and creating an echo chamber. Since establishment Washington, rightly, opposed the Iran deal that he and Obama so desperately wanted, they invented a new establishment and sold it to America.
As Malley and representatives of the State Department, including Wendy Sherman and Secretary of State John Kerry, engaged in formal negotiations with the Iranians, to ratify details of a framework that had already been agreed upon, Rhodes’s war room did its work on Capitol Hill and with reporters. In the spring of last year, legions of arms-control experts began popping up at think tanks and on social media, and then became key sources for hundreds of often-clueless reporters. “We created an echo chamber,” he admitted, when I asked him to explain the onslaught of freshly minted experts cheerleading for the deal. “They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say.”
When I suggested that all this dark metafictional play seemed a bit removed from rational debate over America’s future role in the world, Rhodes nodded. “In the absence of rational discourse, we are going to discourse the [expletive] out of this,” he said. “We had test drives to know who was going to be able to carry our message effectively, and how to use outside groups like Ploughshares, the Iran Project and whomever else. So we knew the tactics that worked.” He is proud of the way he sold the Iran deal. “We drove them crazy,” he said of the deal’s opponents.
Ah, the “expert” class. We know them well.
Ben Rhodes helped pioneer and refine the “echo chamber” strategy Obama used so well—the creation of what I call The Narrative™. Ben is part of the Obama team’s Crooked Media, which is known for its shows Pod Save America and Pod Save the World. Crooked Media was founded by the worst of the worst: Jon Favreau, Tommy Vietor, and Jon Lovett, all part of Obama’s communications and foreign policy/intelligence teams.
These people, apparently, are Tucker Carlson’s new best friends, and the love is strong with them.
Pod Save America’s Ben Rhodes & Tommy Vietor gush about nazi promoter Tucker Carlson. PSA’s @jonlovett / Vietor have pushed hard for ppl to back Platner (nazi tat guy) in Maine.
They say they wish more media would act like Tucker. Vietor admits he’s text buddies w/ Tucker btw. pic.twitter.com/SFtcyu8uXz

I guess it now makes sense why Tucker is suddenly all into Sharia law, defending Iran, hating Israel, and all the rest. His new best buddies created the Middle East we know and love today.
I’d love to hear Tucker’s take on Ben Rhodes’ involvement in the Libya fiasco, come to think about it.
I’ve been hesitant to accuse Tucker of being in the pocket of Qatar because I don’t really know, and it seems like Tucker could get sufficient funding for his media empire from other sources without having to sell his soul. But now that he is hanging out with the deepest of the Deep State types and exchanging buddy-buddy texts with intelligence community shills, you have to wonder whether the issue with Tucker’s transformation into an insane man has other origins.
Who knows? I certainly don’t know why Tucker Carlson is suddenly praising Sharia law, feudalism, telling us that Russia’s economy is better than ours, or any of the other crazy things he says. It all seems like a psyop not intended to convince us of anything in particular, other than that America kinda sucks.
To put that in Ben Rhodes/Obama terms, to “fundamentally transform America.”
I don’t criticize Tucker because he talks to people with whom I disagree. In fact, seeing interviews with hard-to-reach but influential people can be enlightening.
Rather, it’s his sycophancy. He treats Nick Fuentes as a deep thinker and Ted Cruz as an enemy of America. His biggest fans are the Obama spook brigade now.
Now I have to wonder if Candace Owens has joined that club too.
