Hasan Piker is one of the most vile left-wingers on the internet.
No, I am not referring to his views, but his open calls to violence.
So imagine my (non) surprise when I saw that, of all people, The New York Times handed over some of the most valuable real estate in journalism–the Opinion Page of The New York Times–to him to give us a lecture on freedom of speech and peaceful disagreement.
When you really want a serious and sensitive look at Charlie Kirk–you go to the guy who called Jews “inbred pigs” and said the US “deserved” 9-11.
I’m not sure it’s possible to hate the NY Times more than I already do.https://t.co/XibAGWu6bn

However much you hate the media, it is not nearly enough.
Why is Politico asking this left-wing pundit, whose disdain for Charlie Kirk permeates this interview, his thoughts on the assassination? Especially on 9/11, which Piker said America “deserved” https://t.co/0hAvzGduMI

Hasan Piker is not just a radical leftist. A man with millions of followers on social media platforms, he preaches that 9/11 was justified, that Jews are “pigs,” and that conservatives should be gutted and have their blood running through the streets.
NSFW:
Hasan Piker has incited violence so many times from his followers.
>”You need to be shanking these motherf*ckers”
>”I’m going to kill you with my AR-15″
>”Let the streets soak in their f*cking red capitalist blood”This violent rhetoric is what causes what happened yesterday. pic.twitter.com/akoSOAwzum

“Yeah kill them,
kill those motherf****rs,
murder those motherf****rs in the street,
let the streets soak in their f***ing red capitalist blood.”– Leftist influencer and Zohran Mamdani’s friend and campaign ally, Hasan Piker pic.twitter.com/EWeXEu1VDQ

This, from a newspaper where there was a newsroom revolt over publishing an Op/Ed by Tom Cotton, and which fired the editor who approved it. The newsroom erupted because, and I quote, Cotton’s words made them feel “unsafe.”
Since Hasan wants to claim that the clip, in which he told his 100ks of Twitch followers to go murder people, was “out of context,” I just wanted to remind everyone that Hasan called for the assassination of @TomCottonAR to his roughly 1 million followers. pic.twitter.com/HoTTXvHqCj

Piker? Apparently, he makes them feel safe, and what makes them feel safe is living in a bubble where Hasan Piker can celebrate 9/11 as justice and advocate for the murder of capitalists, calling for their blood to run in the streets.
You can’t hate the media enough.
Millions of ordinary people still don’t understand who the media really are. The Times, which has bragged about its fact-checking abilities, published an obituary of Kirk that attributed to him views that he spent time criticizing. After a time, they appended a correction, of course, to cover their butts, but is it really possible that nobody watched the video from which they were quoting?
Kirk’s views on antisemitism are no secret. He spoke frequently on the issue. You would think that the Times would be careful about describing the victim of a political assassination–and likely they were. They carefully slandered him to influence the audience that reflexively believe they are devoted to facts, not engaged in hoaxes.
For the record this is what Charlie Kirk had to say about Nick Fuentes & his ilk just 3 weeks ago:
“Any young person that goes into this hyper online brain rot, you are serving yourself over to your own demise, a suicide mission that will not make you healthier or happier” (1) pic.twitter.com/SNSJvJY2AR

For all the talk about how Kirk created an environment in which violence is normalized–simply by speaking with people on a college campus!–The Times chooses one of the most inciting leftists they could find to lecture us about political violence.
“Assigned’s founder, Evan Urquhart, is a trans journalist whose work has appeared on the Atlantic, Vanity Fair, Politico,..Slate. In 2025 he was a fellow at the Knight Science Journalism program at MIT. https://t.co/rCex0JO8do

I would say it is infuriating, but my juices are tapped out by all the evil we have been subjected to over the past few days. This is just another hoax, and another whitewashing of the leftist love affair with violence.
You can’t hate the media enough. They sure hate you.
