The anti-ICE protesters are, for the most part, really awful people.
The anti-Trump media and activists absolutely LOVE them. They have lionized them as defenders of decency and democracy, which I have to say is totally on-brand. They wave around dildos, defend child molesters and rapists, and attack law enforcement officers and conservative journalists to the applause of the left.

I documented a lot of this at the height of the Minneapolis anti-ICE riots. While the left and the media kept on insisting that people who rioted every day, threatened to poison or kill federal law enforcement officers, destroyed property, broke into hotels, and even tried to murder ICE and Border Patrol agents, the propaganda machine was making out that law enforcement agents were the bad guys.

This weekend we got to see yet another example of how false this narrative is. Chris Ostroushko and his entire family were out “protesting” at the Whipple Federal Building, where ICE has an office, and TPUSA citizen journalist Savanah Hernandez was out filming the event.

She was viciously attacked, first by the daughter, blowing a 140 dB whistle into her ear, and then shoving her around. Then her mother came to assault her, and the attack ended with the father clocking her and sending her to the ground.

Ostroushko is one of the great heroes the media has elevated to demigod status. His behavior is nothing new. He is a violent radical socialist, but until he got caught on camera hitting a young girl, he was a useful spokesman for people like Tim Miller, who is on a mission to “conserve conservatism.”

Just as, for Miller, who not so long ago was the spokesman for Jeb Bush, promoting Hasan Piker, a communist whose most prized possession is a first edition of Mao’s Little Red Book, is the path to redemption for America.

Many of these same people are rooting for Iran to win its war against America and Israel, because nothing says saving democracy like promoting the Iranian regime. Iran is currently getting a tongue bath at the United Nations, because Orange Man Bad,.

Socialists, Communists, and Islamists have now become the principal allies of the anti-Trump crowd. These people cheered for Maduro against Trump, Hamas against Trump and Bibi, and Iran for the same reason.
I was surprised at how many liberals openly rooted for Iran to capture our downed airman, although no prominent liberal was stupid enough to go that far. It was their activists.
The same people, though, are now doing their best to defend Hezbollah by insisting, against even the will of the Lebanese government(!), that the temporary cease-fire in the Gulf include Lebanon.
This is where we are. Hamas. Hezbollah. Narco-terrorists. Maduro. Cuba. Iran.
These are the left’s allies. Because Orange Man Bad.
