OPINION:
The Supreme Court heard last week from attorneys representing the state of Maryland arguing in favor of teaching prekindergarten children as young as 3 the virtues of, in the words of Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, “leather, bondage, sex work and drag queens.” If this story doesn’t highlight the fact that Democrats have completely lost their minds and sold their souls to their weird sexual fetishes, what does?
For decades, Democrats have been cheerleaders for nearly every aberrant copulative act imaginable, and the negative consequences of their sexual peccadillos are almost too numerous to count.
In addition to the social confusion of more than 20% of today’s youths now identifying somewhere along the LGBTQ spectrum, the physical consequences of indoctrinating our children to rut like rabbits are sobering.
Here are just a few examples:
• Today, more than 20% of America’s female population younger than 25 has a sexually transmitted disease.
• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the number of cases of gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis in the United States has reached an unprecedented high, and young women ages 15 to 24 account for a large number of these cases.
• More than 1.5 million new cases of chlamydia, about 395,000 new cases of gonorrhea and nearly 24,000 cases of syphilis are reported in the United States every year.
• Americans ages 15 to 24 account for more than 50% of gonorrhea cases and 65% of chlamydia cases.
• Syphilis is rampant among men who had sex with other men.
• According to the CDC, Americans ages 13 to 24 account for more than 1 in 5 new HIV diagnoses annually.
• Gay and bisexual males account for 8 in 10 of these cases, and an estimated 44% of those ages 18 to 24 infected do not know it.
The list could go on and on. Our sons and daughters are literally sick and dying from having wanton sex, yet Democrats, rather than acknowledging they are wrong, double down on their weird sex-ed programs for everyone from 3-year-olds to college students.
In addition to the bizarreness of the Maryland preschool curriculum, the University of Oregon’s new SexPositive app is now promoted to all its new 18-year-old freshmen.
This app claims to help students “eliminate shame and embrace sexuality as an experience that offers the possibility for pleasure … and self-discovery, either with another person or by yourself.” The app goes on to make its premise perfectly clear: Its focus is literally on what goes where and what physical response it produces.
Users first select a body part or object from a menu and then digitally spin a wheel to match their selection to another body part or object. The list of objects intended for sexual use includes “anal plugs” and other “toys,” as well as everyday objects that indulge in an endless list of fetishes.
Once the sexual “tools” are selected, students navigate the touch screen to select more information about how and where to use the chosen implements, to engage in “safer sex.”
The app is adaptable to gay, straight or undeclared folks and suited for individuals, couples or multiples, which suggests, of course, that the University of Oregon thinks it is perfectly natural for gender to be undeclared and for sex to be a multiplayer game.
Whether it be Maryland’s preschool curriculum or Oregon’s sex app, the message is the same: For Democrats, sex is a fluid, depersonalized, genitally focused, selfish activity of individual gratification. Forget that retro idea about an intimate relationship between a man and a woman who have committed themselves to each other in marriage. If you want to have sex, just “spin the wheel” and have it.
After lighting the match to the fire of preadolescent curiosity and subsequent adolescent hormones, these liberals insist on throwing gasoline on it while claiming it is water. An entire nation of young people is being “educated” to embrace what we just yesterday rightly called unhealthy, sinful and even insane. From coast to coast, college kids and kindergartners are now being indoctrinated to embrace an amoral consumption-based understanding of sexuality. All the while, assaults surge, marriage rates plummet and STDs soar.
Mental, physical and moral contagions all have a cause. Why aren’t we teaching young people how to live healthy physical and social lives? Shouldn’t we tell them what’s making them sick? We have no problem telling alcoholics to stop drinking or smokers that they are killing themselves, but mum’s the word when it comes to the consequences of sex.
Our children are sacrificing their bodies and souls on the altar of unbiblical unrestrained passions, and the Democrats are handing them the knife. Why?
