The cuisine served at White House state dinners apparently doesn’t satisfy the appetite of President Trump, who usually devours a burger before the fancy banquets begin.
Journalist Michael Wolff, who enjoyed extensive White House access during the first Trump administration, said during an episode of The Daily Beast’s “Inside Trump’s Head” podcast that the president eats a burger before state dinners so that he has more time to talk to attendees.
Mr. Trump’s love of fast food is almost legendary. During his first term he served burgers and pizza to national college football champions, Clemson University, Yahoo News reports.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently criticized Mr. Trump’s diet as probably the most unhealthy in his administration, during an interview on “The Katie Miller Podcast.”
But the health secretary added that Mr. Trump “has the constitution of a deity. I don’t know how he’s still alive, but he is.”
