Last Friday an anti-ICE influencer on TikTok got arrested and pulled out of her car by ICE agents in Los Angeles. Her name is Tatiana Martinez and she was live-streaming when the arrest happened.
A Colombian immigrant TikTok influencer was detained by immigration agents after a confrontation outside her Los Angeles residence that unfolded live on social media.
Leidy Tatiana Mafla-Martinez was apprehended by federal authorities while streaming on TikTok from her Tesla on Friday, August 15, according to the Department of Homeland Security…
Martinez—who entered the U.S. in 2022, according to DHS—posts under the handle @tatianamartinez_02. She has gained attention for documenting ICE operations, sharing “know your rights” guidance, and offering commentary on immigration enforcement.
Video of Martinez being dragged out of her car was circulating online last week. There’s a lot going on in this clip which includes video from three different angles: Outside the car, inside the car and above the street.

In a longer clip posted on Instagram, you can see there are two guys, one in a dark suit and another in a black t-shirt and tan shorts who are shouting at the ICE agents as they try to get Martinez out of the car. The guy in the t-shirt walks away and, if you listen, you can hear what sounds like metal being moved around somewhere off screen. That’s a tow truck setting up to haul away an ICE vehicle.
They get Martinez out of the car and, contrary to some later claims, she was not slammed on the ground. She was pulled out of the car but she was suspended and then placed on the ground. Just about then, one of the ICE agents turns and runs off. He’s responding to his vehicle being towed away. Here’s the full clip and I’ll have more angles below.
From this angle, you can see the tow truck driving away with the ICE vehicle while its emergency lights are still flashing. The ICE agent runs after it but then comes back. I think the guy in the t-shirt and shorts in the clip above was the tow truck driver. It’s right after he walks away that you hear the tow truck preparing to take the car.

A bit later, Martinez complained she couldn’t breathe and someone shouted “Call 911!”

Ambulances did arrive and that final segment of the top clip above shows all the ambulances arriving and taking her to a hospital. Apparently she wasn’t there long and was then taken to an ICE detention center. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin gave a statement to Newsweek:
On August 15, ICE arrested Leidy Tatiana Mafla-Martinez, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia who was convicted for driving under the influence in Los Angeles. This criminal illegal alien entered the country in 2022 and was RELEASED by the Biden administration. During her arrest, Martinez claimed to experience shortness of breath. She was given proper medical treatment and will be held in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

So it sounds like she’s getting deported. Given that she was hear illegally and had a DUI conviction, making herself the center of attention on TikTok seems like a risky move. Here’s her channel if you’re interested but all of the content is in Spanish.
