You may recall that Avenatti got into a bit of trouble, despite being akin to the Holy Ghost. This holy man, shockingly, was a scammer. Who could have guessed? He stole money from Stormy Daniels, his client, and tried to extort Nike out of zillions of dollars.
Michael Avenatti was released from jail on Tuesday after serving around 4 years of an over 11-year sentence.
He was convicted of various crimes including a $20 million extortion scheme against Nike and stealing $300,000 from Stormy Daniels.

Michael Avenatti was released from jail on Tuesday after serving around 4 years of an over 11-year sentence.
He was convicted of various crimes including a $20 million extortion scheme against Nike and stealing $300,000 from Stormy Daniels.
Avenatti is still not a fully free man. He is ordered to serve more time in a halfway house in Hollywood, participate in mental health treatment, and stay away from unlawful controlled substances. If he does all of that, he has a projected release date of September 2028. He also has to pay restitution of close to $6 million.
Here’s Avenatti in March 2019 saying the claims of him trying to extort Nike were “an absolute joke.” He said, “We didn’t try to extort anybody. Did we engage in tough negotiations? Absolutely.” He said the case against him was “an atrocity” and “I’m looking forward to the executives of Nike being led away in handcuffs.”

Given Avenatti’s legal troubles, leading to him becoming a felon who was jailed, the Democrats turned to a felon and a traitor who sold out his country to become the next President of the United States.

I kinda wonder whether the porn lawyer mightn’t have been a better president.
It tells you a lot about Democrats that they would flock to one of the most obviously morally degenerate men and turn him into a demigod merely because he opposed Trump and was willing to say nasty and untrue things about Donald Trump.
Then again, we already knew those things. The top contenders for the nomination in 2028 are just as honest and trustworthy as Avenatti.
