Trump’s Cabinet in nearly full force to honor ‘Melania’

All but two members of President Trump’s Cabinet are expected to be in attendance Thursday for the premiere of “Melania,” a documentary with unprecedented access to Melania Trump.

The first couple will walk the red carpet at the Trump-Kennedy Center at 7 p.m., with the film beginning at 8. It will be released worldwide on Friday.

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, and Chris Wright, the energy secretary, are the two Cabinet officials who will miss the opening, “Seen, Heard & Whispered” has learned. They had prior obligations.

The documentary tracks Mrs. Trump during the 20 days leading up to last year’s inauguration and her husband’s second swearing-in.

Marc Beckman, the executive producer, told “Seen, Heard & Whispered” that the film takes viewers into rooms and spaces never before seen by the public.

“This film has never happened before,” Mr. Beckman said.
