I am not PREDICTING riots, but it sure looks like the conditions are building.
If Minneapolis burns, it’s probably going to be tonight. Massive crowds forming today.pic.twitter.com/Z0laWRUxdx

Massive crowds are gathering near the scene of Renee Good’s assault on an ICE officer and her subsequent suicide by cop. Governor Walz is clearly worried about a repeat of the Summer of 2020, likely because he is in danger of being in charge of a state that temporarily loses some of its sovereignty by Trump invoking the Insurrection Act.
Instead of trying to dial down the temperature in Minneapolis, Tim Walz and his administration are literally telling people how to go out and protest ICE agents.
It’s very clear to see who is fomenting the violence in the streets. pic.twitter.com/GDSrEX8fPy

Walz is trying to walk a very fine line, having declared war on the federal government one moment, then requesting people be “peaceful” and not to give Trump an excuse to surge troops into the state.
Trump sent thousands of armed federal officers into our state, and it took just one day for them to kill someone.
Now he wants nothing more than to see chaos distract from that horrific action.
Don’t give him what he wants.

You can’t simultaneously incite rage and expect that rage to be contained by crowds. Crowds don’t work that way, as we saw last night when rioters stormed hotels in search of ICE agents.

Minnesota politicians have been adapting to the changing information, maintaining their claims that this was murder. As I wrote earlier today, Mayor Frey articulated an entirely new standard for the use of force: law enforcement officers must be badly injured before they can protect themselves.
Insane.
The mayor of Minneapolis is telling people it’s ok to assault cops just as long as you don’t cause life threatening injuries.

I hope he told his rather ample security detail not to protect him until he is injured badly and bleeding in the street. I would hate to see them get in trouble for violating that novel standard.
🚨 BREAKING: THOUSANDS of leftists have taken over major roads in Minneapolis, vandalizing businesses and homes along the way
Minneapolis PD are, as usual, totally MIA.
MPD has relegated traffic duties to the trans brigade in their little yellow vests.
This is a failed city. pic.twitter.com/C8sxStaPMs

If things follow the George Floyd playbook, the crowds gather during the afternoon, and the violence starts later.
Will that happen this time? Signs say yes, but I am praying that I am wrong.
🚨NEW: Tom Homan makes *IMPASSIONED PLEA*🙏
HOMAN: “I’m begging: Tone down the rhetoric. I don’t want to see any more bloodshed. With the rhetoric comparing ICE to murderers & the secret police, I’m afraid this is not over.”
DR. PHIL: “I’m afraid you’re right.”@DailyCaller pic.twitter.com/NoORKvH4Pi

Leftists have been working very hard to get to this point. They have been pushing ICE for months, up to the point where ambushes have occurred. It’s hard to see them leaving what they see as a golden opportunity on the table.
