‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson rages at Trump over Epstein files

Actor Alan Ritchson unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against President Trump over the still-unreleased Jeffrey Epstein files during a podcast appearance this week, suggesting the president was preventing their release.

Mr. Ritchson, who stars as the title character in Amazon Prime’s “Reacher,” made the comments while promoting his new film “Motor City” on Josh Horowitz’s “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, released Thursday. Asked about actors speaking openly on politics, Mr. Ritchson said he believes some people see him as a “loose cannon” but argued he is simply voicing what others feel.

The actor then turned to the Epstein files, demanding to know why they remain unreleased and accusing the president of withholding the files.

“I don’t care what room they’re in. Bitch, move,” Mr. Ritchson said. “Give me the f—-ing manila envelope. Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable. These f—-ing rapists. That bitch has the keys to the nuclear codes. He’s like all up into 13-year-olds. Like, dude, what? Go to jail.”

Mr. Ritchson briefly noted that he felt conflicted about the profanity given his Christian faith, but continued anyway, saying the subject made him too angry to hold back.

The remarks quickly spread online, prompting reactions from both supporters and critics.

The Epstein files have been released in phases since Mr. Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act into law in November 2025. A DOJ and FBI memo issued last year concluded there was no incriminating “client list” and no credible evidence Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals, adding that investigators found nothing to warrant opening cases against uncharged third parties.
