Candace Owens’ Imitators Continue to Attack Erika Kirk – HotAir

I confess I’d never heard of this guy spreading this claim until this week, but he’s claiming that Erika Kirk has a new boyfriend and he has proof. Not actual proof mind you but a recording of a supposed witness which has been run through AI or something.

Again, I didn’t know anything about this account but it turns out he’s been doing this for months. In fact he has previously received legal letters from Erika Kirk.

Erika Kirk, who succeeded Charlie in running Turning Point USA after his assassination, sent the legal threat to the man behind Project Constitution, accusing him of defamation over statements alleging she was involved in her husband’s murder and in sex trafficking tied to Jeffrey Epstein.

The letter, dated March 18 and signed by Paul Edgard Harold of SouthBank Legal, was sent to Collin Scott Campbell, the Maryland-based figure behind the Project Constitution online activist brand.

In any case, if you read through his whole post you’ll notice that he a) begs for money and b) tags fellow Kirk haters Candace Owens and Baron Coleman. As usual with anything put forward by this crew, the claims are false. Blake Wynn responded.

Erika Kirk also responded, saying every word of the claim was a lie.

And here’s where we get into the new form of “investigation” that has been pioneered by Candace Owens. It starts, like this one, with some wild and unproven claim about where someone was on a given day. And then, having provided no proof beyond a dubious eyewitness, they demand the person they are targeting prove they were somewhere else. In this case, that’s exactly what “Project Constitution” did.

This is about as far from good faith as you can be. But notice he’s demanding she provide a photo of her child’s birthday party along with the metadata so he can verify her whereabouts. This is exactly the sort of thing Candace Owens has been doing for months, making demands that people prove they were not at Fort Huachuca when her absurd source claimed he’d spotted them there.

First of all, obviously no one elected Candace Owens or Collin Campbell to be free range district attorneys issuing subpoenas for whatever documents they deem important.

Second, because these people are conspiracy theorists, no amount of proof will ever matter to them. If Erika Kirk were to send a photo, they would claim it was fake or that the metadata had been altered or notice something in the background they would claim was out of place. Every new bit of information is just more fodder for the same garbage conspiracy output.

Third, the genius of this play is that by demanding ever more intimate knowledge of someone’s daily whereabouts, they can act shocked and dismayed when the target finally decides they’ve had enough. This is how they claim victory: See, all I wanted was one photo and some metadata but Erika wouldn’t send one. I wonder what she’s hiding. And like that they’re off to the races again.

Sadly, none of this type of garbage is going to work for these people in court where the questions will be precise and the answers must also be. That’s why Owens has already been sued twice. It’s also probably why Erika responded. He has now been given correct information. Further attempts to spread false information could be legally actionable, even where a public figure is involved.
