This weekend, in Berlin, a man named Abdul Ballout rammed his van into a crowd at a Pride festival in Berlin.
He was known to police as an Islamic extremist and had been convicted in both Lebanon and subsequently in Germany for trying to join ISIS and for planning a terrorist attack. Despite being an adult, he was tried as a juvenile and sentenced to…de-radicalization classes.
After the attack, police eventually killed him after a manhunt lasting almost 24 hours.
Ballout had been detained in Lebanon and extradited to Germany before being convicted of a crime in Berlin in May, the person familiar with the investigation said.
Ballout was only handed a suspended prison sentence after his May conviction, a decision prosecutors had appealed, German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt told journalists in Berlin.
“We are dealing with a suspect that stood out because of the large number of offenses he committed, because of his radicalization, and through his membership in the Islamist scene,” Dobrindt said, without spelling out the charges Ballout faced.
“These many crimes and this radicalization led to a conviction and to a one-year and 10-months prison sentence that was suspended,” he added.
It’s even worse than described. This man had been convicted of trying to join ISIS in Lebanon, and Germany extradited him only to try him as a juvenile instead of the adult he was (criminals between 18-21 can be tried as either, apparently). He was given every break because it would be mean not to give him a third, fourth, or 10th chance to carry out his wish to murder people.
He got his Make-a-Wish before he went to his 72 virgins.
Over the past decade or so, ramming attacks have become a fact of life in European countries, and 84% of them are committed by people of Middle Eastern/North African descent. When a terrorist attack takes place, everybody knows who committed it because…it’s obvious. It’s pattern recognition. You have to be blind not to see the pattern.
Yet the only people who want to do anything about it are labeled “far right” and condemned for being hateful. In fact, even the victims of such attacks, should they survive, will spring up to defend the community that spawns these attackers and applauds them, blaming white “Islamophobes” for causing Islamists to hate Westerners.

Islam is the “religion of peace,” we are told. It’s misinformation that Muslims are not integrating and that they are determined to destroy Western culture. “Don’t demonize people,” we get lectured.
It’s the Norm MacDonald joke come to life. Satirists can’t keep up with reality.

The media works overtime to divorce the crime from the criminal. It wasn’t a person who committed this crime. A car drove into a crowd, as if vehicles have agency, and the people who slam their vehicles or wield the knives with the intent to kill are instruments of inanimate objects.
The AfD, which the German government keeps trying to ban from elections by labeling it a terrorist organization, says the quiet part out loud:
The main opposition party, the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) spoke of a total failure of security policy. “If an Islamist ‘threat actor’ known to the police was able to commit such an act, there must be a thorough investigation into why he was able to move about freely in the first place,” said AfD interior policy spokesperson Martin Hess.
“Far right.” The only people who called it properly are the bad guys. “Masculinity” is the problem. “Far right” haters are the problem. Straight people are the problem.
Everybody but the Islamists, who adhere to the religion of peace.

Of course, as is so often the case, the Muslims themselves are happy to claim responsibility. While everybody else rushes to deny that they hate Western Culture and Westerners in general, they all jump up and celebrate when acts of terror take place. Most will, of course, never commit an act of terror. They are enjoying all the benefits of being treated like kings in their adopted countries, and happy to let the terrorists kill themselves and others in their stead.

This pattern has been repeated for decades now. The response in America to 9/11 was to create an alternate reality in which the President of the United States and everybody in the political elite chanted together that “Islam is the religion of peace,” and to open the gates to our country to a wave of Islamic migration.
Europe, being closer to the Middle East, saw an even greater flow of immigrants, both legal and illegal, and Angela Merkel flooded her country with millions of potential terrorists and sexual offenders, who went on to turn Germany and all the countries which have agreed to open borders within Europe into rape zones.

Kate Osborne said Reform was part of an “escalation of hate” across Europe, which was a “catalyst for real-world physical violence”.
The MP for Jarrow and Gateshead East also singled out GB News, claiming the channel was “broadcasting content and language that attacks and vilifies the LGBTQ+ community”.
Abdul Ballout, 21, was shot dead by Berlin police after driving into a crowd and attacking people with a machete on Saturday night, killing one person and wounding 29 others.
Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, told The Telegraph that Ms Osborne’s words risked endangering the party’s politicians, who could be targeted for their views.
The safety of Reform figures has come into the spotlight after the killing of Ann Widdecombe, the former Tory minister, earlier this month.
Probably some of each, depending upon whom you are talking about.
Technocrats are scared of losing power to the “far right,” AWFLs are suicidally empathetic enough to invite people into their homes to lecture them about how evil they are, and the “Queer for Palestine” crowd are genuinely insane.
All of them are functionally, if not consciously, agents of evil and enemies of civilization. Practically speaking, it doesn’t matter what their motives are; they are willing to sacrifice people to the barbarians.
