The U.S. Secret Service interviewed DelleChiaie in early February, according to the complaint. During that interview, he allegedly admitted to conducting those searches on his work computer and acknowledged owning three firearms, including a handgun he kept in a safe at his home.
The charges stem from an email DelleChiaie allegedly sent from his personal email account on April 21, 2026, to the White House’s public-facing email address, prosecutors said. The message, sent with the subject line “Contact the President,” read: “I, Dean DelleChiaie, am going neutralize/kill you – Donald John Trump – because you decided to kill kids – and say that it was War – when in reality – it is terrorism. God knows your actions and where you belong,” according to the complaint.
Prosecutors said the email constituted a threat transmitted across state lines in violation of federal law.
If convicted, DelleChiaie faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
The Secret Service is leading the investigation, with assistance from the Nashua Police Department, prosecutors said. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mike Shannon is handling the prosecution.
