Melania Trump unveils business venture and documentary

dFirst lady Melania Trump revealed her new production company, Muse Films, alongside an upcoming documentary on her.

In a Friday social media post, she announced, “MELANIA, the film, exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026.”

The documentary will focus on her life and role in the White House, revolving around the weeks leading up to last January’s presidential swearing-in.

It’s expected to show Mrs. Trump’s role in preparing the inauguration, organizing the first lady’s office and paving the way for her family’s return to the White House.

At this month’s Fox Nation Patriot Awards, where Mrs. Trump was honored with the Patriot of the Year award, she said the film’s idea came to her shortly after last year’s election.

“What does the world want to know about becoming America’s first lady?” Mrs. Trump said in her acceptance speech, describing the film as a snapshot of a “defining moment in history.”

The film will show “20 intense days of transformation, from private citizen to first lady, balancing my business, my philanthropy, fostering the future, building my East Wing team, the White House staff and, of course, caring for my family,” she said.

In an October interview with “Fox & Friends,” Mrs. Trump said the film’s production started in November 2024, and “we are shooting right now, so it’s a day-to-day life, what I’m doing, what kind of responsibilities I have.”

The documentary will be released in theaters before debuting on Amazon’s streaming platform, Prime Video. Amazon MGM Studios reportedly paid $40 million to license the film, which is one of the largest known licensing deals for a political documentary.

This isn’t the first inside look at Mrs. Trump’s behind-the-scenes life.

Her memoir, “Melania,” which came out in October, is billed by her website as the “powerful and inspiring story of a woman who has defined personal excellence, overcome adversity, and carved her own path.”

“Well, the book was such a success, and I’m very proud, and I get so many messages and letters how they enjoy the book, and they would love — my fans and people — would love to hear more from me,” Ms. Trump told “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt.
