Holy smokes – this was a thing of beauty.
And this ‘Peace Conference’ that Trump and the Arabs have set up is shaping up to be majorly entertaining from one certain vantage point – watching the Europeans squirm.
You know, the European Union elites who cravenly recognized a ‘Palestinian State,’ and nearly torpedoed the actual work on a peace deal that the United States had in progress?
🔴 Rubio states that Peace Talks broke down because of people like Macron and Starmer deciding to reward Hamas with a Palestinian State.

Almost scuttled the whole shebang, the appeasers’ union did.
It sure is funny how they’re all claiming credit for it now.
Find it almost funny that the worthless clowns who played zero role in the actual agreement and actually did serious harm to negotiations are all planning to show up in Egypt and pretend that they deserve some credit.
They should have a separate kids table for Macron, Carney etc https://t.co/Nw7zucVonq

The Education Secretary for Sir Keir Starmer’s stumblupagus Labour government claimed in a Sky News interview on Sunday that…
…The Education Secretary told Sky News on Sunday: “We have played a key role behind the scenes in shaping this.”
Her flight of fancy was immediately called on the carpet by the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee.
…Responding to Ms Phillipson’s comments on X, the ambassador suggested Britain played little part, writing: “I assure you she’s delusional. She can thank Donald Trump any time just to set the record straight.”
Mr Huckabee’s comments threaten a diplomatic setback for Sir Keir, who has put significant effort into building up a good relationship with the US, inviting Mr Trump to a second state visit and securing an economic deal.
He had publicly smacked her so hard, it took our actual peace-negotiating US diplomats to smooth the ruffled feathers back into order.
…In what appeared to be a rowing back of Mr Huckabee’s criticism, Mr Witkoff wrote on X: “I would like to acknowledge the vital role of the United Kingdom in assisting and co-ordinating efforts that have led us to this historic day in Israel.
“In particular, I want to recognise the incredible input and tireless efforts of national security adviser Jonathan Powell.”
No one believed it, but it lets Labour save what little face they have left.
‘It will be a black mark for the United Kingdom in the history books.’

Yes, the Starmers, Macrons, and Carneys of the world headed off to Egypt to bask in reflected glory. Even if that’s the only kind they could get, by Thor’s hammer, they’re taking it.
Thank you Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron, for your tireless efforts making this ceasefire possible 🙏 pic.twitter.com/OH5O1FIWkY

Things were awkward for the elven French president when he arrived and was greeted by President Trump at the gathering. This has to be one of the most cringe-inducing handshakes in recorded history, and as one wag on X said, Trump was probably wishing he could have shaken hands with Mrs Macron instead.

The signing ceremony went pretty well – you’ll note Carney buried in the back and apparently Trump neglected to mention Macron – and STOP THE PRESSES!
President Trump actually complimented the press on their circumspect behavior.
Trump signing the peace plan and thanking everyone, but not Macron!
I guess he doesn’t know that Macron got all of that done! pic.twitter.com/RsY7akDZgV— TeslaBoomerPapa (@TeslaBoomerPapa) October 13, 2025
Starmer was tucked behind folks for the big picture.

Then he and Macron, after the kiddies’ table was booted from the room, pretended they were always going to have an impromptu, ad hoc bilateral meeting of important world leaders.
Well, the problem is they weren’t invited to that one.
So they gamely walked off in the afternoon light, looking like the two Goofy Gophers (‘No, no! I insist! You first!’) to have a sammich together and talk about how everyone hates them because they’re Euro wussie boys.
Regime journalist desperately tries to make Starmer and Macron appear relevant, but the whole world can see them for what they are. A pair of know-nothing meddlers and moral pipsqueaks who tried to sabotage peace and keep the war going. https://t.co/y9aiO94CPn

I guess they left Carney milling around the minivan in the parking lot with a bottle of water, a ballcap, and some sensitive skin sunblock. God knows where that loser Albanese from Australia was.
Starmer & Macron are entirely irrelevant to the Gaza peace deal. Like two interlopers who nobody even knows, sneaking into the back row at a wedding, pretending they are part of the happy event.

Some interesting side notes on the Sharm El Sheikh conference: the Indonesian Prime Minister is there, for one thing. Many people see that as a hugely positive sign. It seems Indonesia and Israel have been gradually warming up their relationship to the point where it’s believed that Indonesia will soon be signing the Abraham Accords.
In another, neither Israel nor Hamas is represented at this conference. Abbas of the Palestinian Authority was there but reportedly did not sign.
The optics that speak louder than words:
– Participants in Sharm El Seikh Summit as per the Egyptian Presidency. 👇🏿
– Israel’s Netanyahu “declined” the invitation, and while Palestinian president Abbas attended the summit, he didn’t sign the agreement. pic.twitter.com/v17U5TQGK9— Rami Kiwan 🇱🇧 🇨🇦 (@rami_kiwan) October 13, 2025
This was as much a first gathering, get-to-know-you of the united power brokers who will have to direct the rebuilding of Gaza as it was the beginning of a peace process. Hopefully, at last free of malign Iranian influence.
My Oct. 12 geopolitics interview: “The Sharm El Sheikh summit is not only about ending the Israel-Hamas-Iran war, but also about building a completely different future for the Middle East, whose economic and political development has been thwarted for decades by Iranian-sponsored…

…whose economic and political development has been thwarted for decades by Iranian-sponsored terrorism and regional destabilization, exploiting radical Sunni Islamist fundamentalism and seeking the annihilation of Israel. The Gulf region possesses staggering potential in addition to vast hydrocarbon exports. Partnership with the technological powerhouse and military hegemon that Israel has become, backed by the long term commitment of American leadership, can transform the Middle East’s Sunni Gulf & Red Sea countries into the next great economic bloc on the global stage. Greece and Cyprus both have a singular and historic opportunity to be integrated into the region’s emerging IMEC (India-Middle East-Europe Corridor) spanning India, UAE, Saudi Arabia & Israel linking with Cyprus and Greece to open new transportation, oil & gas, logistics and other vital trade links from South Asia into Europe, rivaling China’s Belt Road Initiative.
The United Kingdom, France, Canada, and even Australia are going to have a long road to travel if they want to catch up to the train that’s already left the station.
What a good day.
This has been a most remarkable and historic day, with our most remarkable president leading the way.
