Former “Home Improvement” child actor Zachery Ty Bryan was sentenced to 16 months in jail in California after pleading guilty to a 2024 DUI charge, multiple news outlets report.
Bryan admitted to driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.15% or higher, which is nearly double the legal limit, and acknowledged two previous convictions for driving under the influence. The judge denied probation.
He is due in court on March 2 in Lane County, Oregon, for a probation violation hearing over a 2023 domestic violence conviction, People magazine reported.
The former child star was arrested in La Quinta, California, for his most recent conviction — the latest in a string of legal troubles he has faced since the end of his ABC sitcom in the 1990s.
In 2020, Bryan was arrested on charges of strangling his girlfriend.
