I know you’ve been sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for Tuesday to roll around. Like clockwork, we have more primaries to discuss today.
Tonight, the biggest national races are the presidential primaries in Kentucky and Oregon, but of course, these are also the races with the fewest surprises. Kentucky has House primaries — including 86-year-old Rep. Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) in the 5th District, the current longest-serving member of the House — and Oregon has House primaries and a slew of statewide races to watch as well.
Additionally, Idaho and Georgia have House primaries, while California has a special election for one House seat. But one of the most consequential races is a contest for a Supreme Court seat in my home state of Georgia, which I wrote about last week.

Real talk here: I’m worried about this Supreme Court race. I’ve seen a few signs for radical leftist John Barrow, and he appears first on the ballot in alphabetical order. I’m hoping that people who know the stakes will vote for Justice Andrew Pinson, while those who don’t know much will choose Pinson just because he’s the incumbent. Fingers crossed and praying hands up for this race.
All polls close in Kentucky and Georgia at 7 p.m. Eastern, and Idaho’s, California’s, and Oregon’s polls will all be closed by 11 p.m. Eastern.
