Guess What Hamas Is Doing With Aid We Are Sending to Gaza – HotAir

You will be shocked to learn that almost all the aid the United States is moving into Gaza via that pier we painstakingly and expensively built is getting stolen before it arrives at its intended destination.

I certainly was. I expected that Gaza, which is filled with saints and angels, would be among the most law-abiding and safe places in the world for aid workers.

Sure, Israelis are hunting them, but the aid is being delivered where the Israelis are not, and shockingly it is not the dastardly and genocidal Joos who are stealing the aid as supplements to their diet of Palestinian babies, but rather Hamas operatives and opportunistic civilians who want to make a quick buck.

Over the months, I have seen many videos of Hamas soldiers stealing aid, even shooting civilians who, for some reason, thought they had a right to some of the aid. But since those videos were mainly from Northern Gaza I assumed that the real culprits were Israeli soldiers pretending to be Hamas operatives.

Joos are sneaky like that.

But now I am informed by The New York Times itself that Palestinians are looting the aid trucks, although they are quick to blame the Israelis for intentionally starving the angelic Palestinians and forcing them to commit crimes.

One of the first aid shipments to arrive in the Gaza Strip through a U.S.-built pier was looted, officials said on Monday, highlighting the ongoing challenge of securely delivering humanitarian assistance in a territory with serious food shortages and other needs.

The failed delivery on Saturday came two days after the floating pier, constructed by the U.S. military at an estimated cost of more than $300 million, was connected to the Mediterranean shore in central Gaza. The U.S. State Department did not respond to requests for comment.

Crowds of Palestinians intercepted a convoy of trucks that had loaded goods from the pier, hastily grabbing and running off with its contents, according to Abeer Etefa, a World Food Program spokeswoman. Two senior Western officials and Majdi Fathi, a Gazan photo journalist, confirmed Ms. Etefa’s account. The officials requested anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

Aid groups and the United Nations blame the hunger crisis in Gaza on Israel’s restrictions on aid entering the enclave and also on black marketers who have seized supplies to sell at inflated prices. Israeli officials have insisted that enough supplies have been entering the territory and have accused Hamas of stealing and hoarding aid.

I have no earthly idea what the food situation in Gaza actually is. As with oil, we are told daily about how there is none to be had, and that it will run out tomorrow or the next day, famine is always a day or two around the corner, and has been for months. Is it true? I have no idea since Hamas and the UN (but I repeat myself) are the ones reporting these “facts” to me, and I trust them as much as I trust Anthony Fauci or Adam Schiff.

They could be telling the truth, but it would certainly be the first time.

What I do know for certain is that whatever aid is getting into Gaza is being controlled by Hamas, and everybody but the Israelis seems fine with that. All that this serves to do is slander Israelis while delivering supplies to their enemies, which is a win-win.

The surest way to end the suffering of the Palestinian civilians would have been enabling Israel to engage in a short, victorious war instead of dragging all this out indefinitely. Joe Biden, more than anybody else, is responsible for this war dragging on and, therefore, for much of the suffering.

Hamas, of course, initiated this war and bears ultimate responsibility; Iran provided the weapons and the training, but it is Biden who has given them both the breathing room to stretch this war out and undermine Israel politically.

Biden has an unerring ability to find exactly the wrong thing to do and execute it flawlessly. Perhaps what we are witnessing is not incompetence per se but a competent execution of horrendously bad plans.

Naah. He makes bad plans and executes badly.

In any case, the US taxpayers are spending hundreds of millions of dollars to create chaos, undermine Israel, fund Hamas, prop up the failing Iranian regime, and make the world a much worse place.

This is perfect Joe Biden, who never misses an opportunity to make America and the world worse places to be.

I can’t wait until he decides to take in refugees from Gaza. I am pretty sure that is coming soon enough.
