Eric Trump threatens to sue Jen Psaki, MS NOW over China report

Eric Trump threatened to sue MS NOW host Jen Psaki after she accused him of traveling to China with his dad, President Trump, to further his business interests, saying his presence on the trip was a conflict of interest.

Ms. Psaki, who was President Biden’s press secretary, said on her show “The Briefing” that ALT5 Sigma, a Las Vegas financial technology firm, wants a deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer with ties to its government to build AI data centers and a “whole bunch of other AI-related stuff.” She cited reporting by the Financial Times as the source of her comments.

Eric Trump’s name and listing disappeared from ALT5 Sigma’s leadership webpage, according to a report by Bloomberg. He had been appointed as an adviser and board observer, the outlet said.

He denied Ms. Psaki’s reporting, posting on X that he has “never been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever.

“Any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy statements would know this.”

He added, “I intend to sue @jrpsaki and @MSNOWNews.”

The president’s middle son, who serves as the Trump Organization’s executive vice president, said he has had “zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity” he does not run or control.

He also wrote, “I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing.

“I joined this trip for one reason: as a loving son who adores my father and wouldn’t miss being by his side for this incredible moment. During the bilateral talks, @LaraLeaTrump and I went to the Great Wall of China,” he said, tagging his wife, Lara Trump.

Eric Trump and his wife were spotted with other U.S. business leaders boarding Air Force One for Friday’s flight back to America.

Other business leaders on the China trip included Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
