Denis Villeneuve has unveiled the first look at the “thriller-inspired” conclusion to his trilogy — and the spice must flow one last time. The trailer confirms a 17-year time jump from “Dune: Part Two,” with a battle-worn Paul Atreides (Timothee Chalamet) now sitting uneasily on the imperial throne. Robert Pattinson makes a menacing debut as shapeshifting villain Scytale, while the footage teases an action-heavy “messianic” reckoning on Arrakis. The film hits theaters December 18, 2026.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ viral marketing begins

The web is already spinning. Tom Holland confirmed the first trailer for the next MCU Spider-Man installment drops Wednesday — but fans aren’t waiting. In a “global sunrise” marketing stunt, clips are being released by fans worldwide ahead of the full reveal. The first official still pays homage to “Amazing Fantasy” #15, signaling a grounded, back-to-basics chapter for Peter Parker.

Chicago’s Grant Park is going brat. Charli XCX leads the 2026 Lollapalooza lineup alongside Lorde, Tate McRae, and The Smashing Pumpkins for a festival running July 30 through August 2. Keanu Reeves and Jonah Hill team up for dark comedy ’Outcome’

Keanu Reeves plays a Hollywood veteran whose carefully curated legacy unravels after a damning video from his past surfaces — and his only way out is a humiliating apology tour. Apple TV+’s “Outcome,” written and directed by Jonah Hill, also stars Mr. Hill as Mr. Reeves’ crisis lawyer, with Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer along for the ride. The dark comedy streams April 10, 2026.
