Fairfax County police seek man accused of breaking into 4 Centreville homes while nude

The Fairfax County Police Department is looking for a man accused of committing four burglaries while naked in Centreville, Virginia, over the past week.

Detectives began investigating the incidents after a woman living in the 14700 block of Ealing Court was woken up by her dog at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, only to find the suspect nude standing inside her home. The man fled before officers arrived, the police said Tuesday.

Police said they believe the man is also behind three other similar incidents. The earliest occurred last Thursday; police allege the man entered a home in the 14800 block of Bodley Square at about 5:15 a.m. while the victim got ready for work, only to flee when confronted.

A resident in the 14800 block of Leicester Court found a footprint on a trash can that was up against a fence at about 5:30 a.m. Friday. Police believe the trash can was used as a lift so the suspect could enter a backyard as part of a burglary attempt.

The suspect is also alleged to have gotten into a home in the 6300 block of Paddington Lane on Sunday. The victim heard footsteps at about 3:30 a.m. and saw the suspect standing in the hallway naked before he fled the scene.

Fairfax County police described the suspect as a Black man with a medium complexion, standing about 5-foot-10 with an average build. They ask that anyone with information call 703-814-7000 or the anonymous Crime Solvers tip line at 866-411-TIPS.
