Do you know how many countries in the Anglosphere are participating in Operation Epic Fury?
One, and it is the United States.
It’s worse than that. These “allies,” with the exception of Australia, are so unreliable as partners that the United States chose not to share with our “Five Eyes” partners any of the relevant details of Operation Epic Fury, catching them completely off guard.
And Trump was right to do so. Both Keir Starmer and Mark Carney of Canada have spoken glowingly of establishing strategic relationships with our most significant international rival, the People’s Republic of China.
Starmer spurned American requests to use British bases and went far out of his way to tell everybody, including Muslim extremists in his own country, that he wanted nothing to do with Operation Epic Fury. And Great Britain chose not to even send forces to defend its own base in Cyprus.
This is EXCRUCIATING to watch. This interview should immediately end John Healey’s political career.
Even Sly News can see he’s completely out of his depth, and amazingly they don’t give him an inch.
I’ve never seen anything like it.
This is terrifying.

Now that Starmer has approved defensive measures, if not actual support for the operation, it turns out that the destroyer it is sending is still days away from leaving port.
Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
And speaking of pathetic, Canada is now reluctantly thinking of sending its few warplanes that work to the Middle East, to help defend against Iranian attacks on its allies in the region.
Maybe. Now that Iranian attacks are diminishing by the hour.
Also, and as an American I’m sorry to say this, we don’t trust your government not to pass secret information on to China and Iran.

Canadas ‘top general’ is in over her head.
Saudi Arabia and the UAE have far larger and more advanced air forces and navies than anything Canada could offer. All of it is fully integrated into Epic Fury.
Canada has not been asked for anything by anyone for three reasons:
1. The PM has dithered and been on every side of the issue and is now irrelevant.
2. Even if he had conviction, CAF can’t deliver. General Carignan has lost complete control of force readiness and overseen the total decline of CAF to under 40pc force readiness. In other words 60pc of all CAF planes and ships are out of service. The remainder is aged, easily destroyed in combat.
3. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are already in the fight side by side with the Americans with much fighter fleets and navies multiple times larger than Canadas.
– Canada has 32 working CF-18 Hornets
– Saudi Arabia has 400+ combat ready airplanes – 230 F-15s alone);
– UAE has over 500 active aircraft with over 150 combat fighters.
If the govt is serious about doing something constructive, they need immediately to start to find and arrest the 6-700 IRGC terror agents the govt has lost track of domestically.
The move would be purely symbolic, given that Canada has allowed itself to become so militarily weak that its most important priority seems to be queering the forces.
This is like the limbless guy in Monty Python insisting he’s about to take the battlefield. At least the Europeans recognize their own feebleness, which is why they stick to “monitoring the situation.” https://t.co/3yaZQouQUP

Iran’s ability to project power outside its borders has not been eliminated, of course, and nobody would turn down an extra fighter or two. But come on, man.

It’s easy to forgive Australia and New Zealand for not participating—New Zealand literally couldn’t, because its air force is a shell, designed to support Australia and the US in the region, basically. Australia has about a hundred fighter aircraft, but it would have a very long flight to the region, and it is rightly focused on deterring China. Assuming a readiness rate of 60% or so (I don’t know the precise number, but that is a good back-of-the-envelope guess), it has about 60 aircraft ready to respond at any one time, and they are pretty busy.
Forgiven, guys.
The war in Iran changed our perception of the world. Most of us still live in a mental world where Western militaries are head and shoulders above anyone else.
The National Post reads: “Canada’s top general weighing military options to support Gulf states in Iran conflict.”…

Israel’s air force is probably more powerful than the RAF. Still, that’s Israel. But it was surprising to learn that the UAE air force was, on paper, considerably superior or a match for the Royal Canadian Air Force.
UAEAF currently fields a modern, high-end multirole fighter fleet of roughly 120–135 combat aircraft . RCAF by comparison operates around 75–92 combat aircraft, primarily aging multirole fighters.
The world has changed.
The UK and Canada are weak, feckless, and totally unreliable allies these days, and it is rather shocking if you think about it. Not so long ago, they stood shoulder to shoulder with us, which is why our intelligence sharing was closer than with any other country in the world.
Now look at them. Pathetic.
The key thing with this video is they don’t tell you what the content is. They intentionally want a chilling effect. For everybody to hesitate before posting anything too edgy. I genuinely didn’t realise how authoritarian this government would get. pic.twitter.com/EX3gEFh0sK

Of course, it’s not just on security issues that they are becoming frenemies; these countries, or at least the ruling cliques, are hostile to our values as well.
I still have hope that we will see regime change in both countries—democratically, of course—but the prospect of it happening anytime soon is pretty bleak, given the electoral calendars in both countries.
JD Vance or Marco Rubio will be president before either country must have a general election.
An $8.25 billion oilsands mine expansion just got deferred near Fort McMurray.
Not because of Alberta independence.
Because of Ottawa’s failed polices on carbon pricing and regulations.

It’s not hard to see why there is a growing secession movement in Alberta. Part of Canada could actually become the 51st state, although more likely that Alberta would become an autonomous country with close relations to the US.
It’s hard to imagine such a scenario, but who thought Donald Trump would become president?
Of course, if the Democrats had their way, the United States would be just as pathetic—in fact, under Biden, it was.
53 Democrats just voted against reaffirming that the Islamic Republic of Iran remains the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism — something State Departments of both parties have declared since 1984.

We have reached the point where the Democratic Party is siding with Iran over the United States.
Remember in November.
